New stadium builds

Has anyone had a new stadium built in their game yet?, or even better a stadium named after them, Am currently at spurs, and all I get now when I ask for an increase is that the local council wont approve, this has been goin on now for 5 seasons.

in my game a local club has build a new stadium (Kristiansund BK) and the name is Kristiansund BK Stadium and Spurs has expended White Hart Lane to 45825

Would be interesting to get a list of teams who do get new stadiums.

It has a retractable roof as well, plus its a synthetic pitch. The one problem I have with it though is the name. Its called the Sol Campbell Arena.

In my game Liverpool has a "Gerrard Stadium" built in 2022, an all seater of 57.700

I'm yet to actually see a new stadium be built in any of my FM games. Maybe thats cos the furthest I play is to about 2015/2016. I maxed white hart lane out on my spurs save to 55000 and am waiting for them to build a new one. I have 300 million in the bank, so its just a waiting game now.

I actually got worried there and that would have been the biggest bug in FM history ever!!

I'm at 52,500 at the moment and nowhere near £300 million so I guess I will just have to be patient.

I suppose that is going to be a major issue with getting a new stadium....actually having the funds to back it?

For folks who have had stadiums built, can any say how much it cost?

I've read that it cost around £1000 pr seat.

My new 18000 stadium costs £22.5 mill, so a grand pr seat seems about right.

In my game Lyon get a new stadium in 2012, it's called OL Land. Also Valencia move into their new stadium in July 2009.

I can't get a new stadium council reckon theres a lack of space

I'm hoping that more information will be revealed about the Northumberland development project in time for the third patch so that Spurs' new stadium will be coded into the game and the wait for a new stadium will be shortened.

I have played this game since CM03/04 and have yet to see a new stadium built for any of the teams I managed

New Old Trafford, if it takes the same approach as L'Pool. But more than likely named after a player or manager.

Like the old and new Testaments! hopefully the new onw woud be a lot less successful than the old!

In my game Portsmouth have a new stadium in 2015 and its called the Primus Stadium which I have to say I quite like!!
