Product key?

I just bought the game today and selected the online activation type in the installation process - now after it has aid it has installed, a 'softanchor' window has come up asking me for the product key and at the top it says that my trial period has expired - I have two problems with this:

1. It is asking me for the product key - I only have a KEYCODE on the back of the manual so what the hell is a product key?

2. The Keycode is much longer than the product key required

If someone could just explain i would be delighted - thanks.

on the back of the manual there is a sequence of numbers and letters that is your product key. if that doesn't work then either 1) you have a cracked version or 2) your blind.

If you go to http://keylookup.fm2009.softanchorinsight.com/ and type in the product code as you see it from the back of the booklet it will correct any errors in the code for you.

right another problem - When i go into games on vista and selct FM 09 it goes straight to the saved games folder - what do i do now?

^ Make a shortcut to the game and place it on your desktop for ease of access.

I dragged the icon in the games window onto the desktop - it does the same thing

Go to the installation directory (Program Files/Sports Interactive/FM 2009) and right click on the FM09 icon then select "Send To" -> Desktop.

Make sure it's the fm.exe application that's on your desktop.

Yes, that's what it's supposed to do. When you run that icon from your desktop, the game should run. Make sure you are not creating a shortcut of something else.

One last question (or 2) Does 9.2.0 contain 9.1.0 and does 9.2.0 therefore also have the compatabilty fixes for intel graphic cards?

I have just updated my game - started it up and i do not have any 3D

Should a mobile intel 945GM Express chipset family - chip type intel GMA 950 be good enough - if it is then why dont i have 3D?

BTW i went on canyourunit.com yesterday and it said that i had passed the minimum on everything - why can i only play on 2D then?

Try changing the view from 2D to 3D during a match? Sounds silly, but it's worth a shot.
