Monitor(s) Setup for Mac

Recommended Posts

I am playing FM2009 with my Macbook, and 'm using an external monitor.

If I only want the game to be played on the screen of the Macbook, and leaving the external monitor for other things. How should I do it? Anyone?

Appreciate your help! Thank you.

Go to the system preferences on your mac. You can choose witch monitor should be your main monitor.

Hi Kubi,

Do you mean "Display" in system preference? I am already using the extension mode instead of mirror mode if that's what you're talking about.

and I have chose to use the "monitor 0" (which is the screen of the Macbook) already in the Game's preference.

But still, whenever I start the game, the "monitor 1" (which is the external monitor) goes black... any idea on how should I solve this?

No. You just don't get the problem. Still, I appreciate your trying.

Perchance you should do a better job of explaining your problem then.

My guess is you need to run it in a window instead of fullscreen. Then you can put whatever window you like on whatever monitor you like.
