You have £650 to get me...

A new laptop.

I have budgeted £650 for a new laptop and was hoping to get a good one that will last me at least a couple of years. The only video game i will be playing on it will be FM 2009. But i want to be able to play it with about 30 leagues no problem.

I am looking at getting this one:

Is this a good laptop?

Will this allow me to run 30 leagues at a good pace?

can you not get a desktop pc mate because you can get one of them for about £450 with ALOT better specs.

i don't get the ram spec?

i thought 32 bit windows only registers 3gb ram max? so the extra 1gb ram is useless

but other than that the system will run fm 09 - 30 leagues might be a problem but 20+ should be fine

You can run 3.5g of memory. So really its only an extra 0.5

Really don't want to get a desktop as it means i wouldnt be able to bring it back and forth from uni.

Get a cheap second hand laptop for uni and you could build a quad core top end pc with the rest of the money

One of my main activities at uni will obviously be playing FM

You could always build a small factor form pc which could be put in a rucksack etc to be taken back and forth.

Always better for upgrades etc.

As for a laptop, just buy one with the best cpu you can afford. 32 bit Windows addresses 4 gig of memory in total, and it includes ram from the graphics card.
