HUCKERBY!!! Posted December 26, 2008 Share Posted December 26, 2008 Hi, I recently got Football Manager 09 for christmas and couldn't wait to play it on my new laptop I also got. So I installed it and everything was fine. Then I went to play it and a note came up saying: Cannot run game: Failed to set up graphics system. Does this mean I need to upgrade or something? Please help me I just want to play FM09!!! Also I'm on a Laptop with windows Vista and my system rating is 1.0 if it makes any differance. Cheers for reading wall of text. Please help! ahmufcwafc Posted December 26, 2008 Share Posted December 26, 2008 ERROR: Cannot run game:Failed to set up graphics system Fix: Please download the following update from the Microsoft Direct X SDK: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=5493F76A-6D37-478D-BA17-28B1CCA4865A&displaylang=en You should also check that you are running the latest graphics driver, you can do this by visiting the computer manufacturer website, or by visiting the graphics card manufacturing website.
