Just got the game

Hey guys

I just got FMH 2009 for chrimbo

any ideas who to start with, who to buy, and stuff like that ?

You should probably avoid starting in the premiership as its much harder than in previous versions.

Start in the championship or with a big club in an easy country like scotland, Portugal or Holland.

Probably not all good enough for top divisions of spain, england or italy but in any other league these are stars!

Why don't you join me as Watford? Theres little money, but the board expectation is low and its easy to over achieve for the first season or two.

Yeah Southampton are very similair to Watford, low expectation with a decent squad, also a few players to sell to earn up a little cash.

Cool, Watford are great fun. The feeling you get when you beat Bolton, Sunderland and Newcastle on the way to the League Cup Semi Finals is amazing, as I found out today:D

I tried buying and selling the same players as you did but i lost most of my games at the start of the season

I think ill start as somebody like Celtic or Rangers or maybe Ajax or a Portuguese team

What about Lyon, to get into the game. Hardly any challengers for the league to help you get into the game.

Iv already started as Rangers but ill go Lyon if I have no luck

try celtic or rangers to get you started you cant go wrong guaranteed at least second.
