It is/was a tournament in February-March or so for the top-teams in the three countries to get international competition on the pre-season. Not very good though, since nobody wanna watch football in February, especially not on the quagmires Scandinavian pitches are during that time of the year... Hamselv Posted December 25, 2008 Share Posted December 25, 2008 There are still plans about getting the tournament going again, but since it's not taking place at the moment, then it would make sense if it's not part of FM09. The reason they stopped playing the tournament was that after the initial TV deal ended, no one wanted to buy the rights. Since then tournament was funded mostly by the money from the TV deal, they couldn't continue. At the moment they are still trying to find some money (from sponsors or a new TV deal), so with a little luck it might be back in time to get included in FM10 (I doubt it though).
