Team Report: Why are youth players listed as the backups when they aren't?

How come in the assistant manager's team report he lists the youth players as backups? I don't understand this. At Juventus, my ass. man says there is no adequate cover for midfield even though there is. He evens goes on to to say that "random youth player" will not be able to step in effectively should an injury occur to my first choice midfielder or whatever even though that youth player won't figure into my plans. It was the same in FM08 too, but i think in FM07 it would actually list the backups from the senior team and not the youth team. I don't think it even considers players outside of your top eleven in the senior team to be backups, which is strange.
