flameboy Posted December 24, 2008 Share Posted December 24, 2008 I've started a new game as Ebbsfleet Utd.... finished 2nd with 91 points.... and then lost to wrexham 5-4 on penalties after a 3-3 draw.... Now why I think its tough...just so hard to buy players...harder than in PC. I decided not to exploit the trick that would let me sign great players (could have had owen on a bosman) and instead decided to stay within my means. Just seems a lack of players who will really improve the team. Quite a few league 2 players I have signed wouldn't sign as thought I couldn't meet their demands or the board won't me pay enough wages for them... I moan about this but after 5 games of the new season I am top with maximum points and 21 goals scored...Now Oxford are gone this division could be a walk a park.
