dazbowski Posted December 24, 2008 Share Posted December 24, 2008 i'm now in 2017 with my gateshead save and each year i've been checking the number of direct free kicks i've scored the most is 2, now granted in the lower leagues i expect a low amount maybe 3-4, but the last two years in the prem i've scored 1 and 0 in two full seasons with two players with set piece taking of 20! is it just me? am i missing something or is this a common problem? Yeah i do and i do not have special training for free kicks. I do have special training for strickers for midfielders for Gk etc and all of them have a little bit of free kick in their trainings. Btw i checked how many i scored this season and it was 5 in all competitions. But in the pre-season friendlies i've scored 2 thats make the 7 i said . I played Man Utd for 1 season and scored some i cant tell you how many i scored.. i would be lying if i said i knew, i don't really remember but at least 2 for sure.
