FM 2009 DVD Not Reading?

Recommended Posts

I went out today and bought myself a new PC to play FM and other games like GTR Evo etc. And I have installed FM on the family PC and no problems. I put the disc into this PC and it wont read it. All i hear is the DVD drive trying to read it but it wont. When I click on it the window just freezes on me. It also wont let me eject it so I have to restart. GTR Evo works fine and so do many other DVD discs I have. Anybody any ideas why this is?

Cheers

AdZV I'm having to do this because I think my drive has burnt out. Might be an option for you

My computer will not read my DVD disc

You can download the game in Steam without using the disc using the game code you have from your purchased game.

Download Steam from here - http://store.steampowered.com/about/

Install Steam on your computer

Once installed, open up Steam

Go to My Games

Go to Activate a product on Steam

Enter your Activation Code found on the back of the manual. (Use http://keylookup.fm2009.softanchorinsight.com/ to see you got all the 0's and o's right)

Steam should now download your game.
