Binny85 Posted December 23, 2008 Share Posted December 23, 2008 Started a game using Barcelona yesterday and met with this situation a couple of times in signings young players. --> Basically, made and offer for young player (16-18 years old), the bid got accepted and during contract negotiation got to choose between youth or professional/full time(sorry forgot the exact term) contract. I choose the latter and it always seems that the wage request of the player will be 120 pounds, 2 year contract till 2010 (currently 2008 aug). No request for bonus for 1st team app or goals scored or yearly wage rise. This applied to the big name youngsters as well as regens. Is it a special case for clubs in Spain when signing youngsters?
