How to change offered contract to player during transfer

The only option i see is change transfer offer which is not want i want to do but rather change the wage offered to player.

If you have already offered a contract to a player, and you are waiting for his repsonse, if you need to change what you offered the player, you need to withdraw your transfer bid completely and start with the transfer again. If his team accepts the offer, you can offer the player a different contact.

Ugh! i was afraid of that. I bid for a player and then offered him a contract but another team came in with a much higher bid (and i am assuming it offered the player more money too) so i was hoping to offer the player more money without having to rebid for transfer (since the transfer price probably just went up)
