Number of injured players in your game increased or not after 9.2.0 patch?

Deltaroad

Same as before. The fouls per game is still the same, fairly high on 20+ fouls per game. They haven't fixed this inthe patch have they?

Actually I'm asking about the number of injured players not the number of fouls per game.

I got no first team injuries at beginning of November(had 2 total from start of the season) on 25 players, despite playing match every 3 days (playing in BSS).

Didn't have any issues with injuries in 9.1 either. But i use my own trainings and tactics.

Do we need another thread on this? Just use one of the existing ones! And to answer the question, no, I see no drastic increase.

This thread is just for a poll actually but...

Yes I answered. Injuries are the same as before. What I'm saying is the number of fouls per game hasn't changed for me, still the same 20+ fouls. This might be linked with injuries.

Oh sorry. In my game, after applying the patch, although the number of fouls per game doesn't change, the number of injured players increased dramatically.

Where's the option for if they've decreased?

Deltaroad
22-12-2008, 02:34
I see what you mean by increased injures I am starting to get them now after 5 games of play I got 5 injuries. Although it doesn't feel it's more then patch 9.1. Feels the same to me. Can't really judge till at least 6months of game playing.

Is that decrased in your game? :S

Exactly the same as 9.1.0 patch

Wakka

Increased a lot. Voted yes.

Mike7077

I've noticed a definite decrease in knocks picked up in matches.

The workload intensity of my players' training schedules has always been set at the notch in between 'Heavy' and 'Very Heavy' and even then, I have not noticed any marked differences in the quantity of injuries (monthly average of 3-4 small knocks) in my team.

Definitely no increase experienced in my save game.

the first game of the season and i have 8 injuries. most for 1-2 months long. very hard to field a team. definately more than the last patch as it was ok before and i havnt changed the way ive been playing.

matthiele
22-12-2008, 04:05
this increase is only in the new game i have started. i didnt notice it before when i was playing my old save game with the patch so maybe it only affects new games started after the 902 patch.

I'm on a new game and can't say there's a significant increase. And that's with me having 7 injuries.

22-12-2008, 05:02
People were complaining about 9.1 having too many injuries. Now there are people complaining that 9.1 was fine and 9.2 has too many injuries.
Given the huge scale of this game...
It's luck.

Was thinking the same thing, as I've had a significant decrease in injuries, post 9.2 patch.:D

Increase? Goddamit.
So many compatibility problems reported after this patch... and this?
No way Im installing it.

I've noticed a definite decrease in knocks picked up in matches.

Seconded.

But again I am using own training schedules, since the latest patch, so it can be that as well.

I think they have gone done, or at the very least stayed the same! I have also noticed a drop in the amount of knocks picked in matches! And i dont fiddle about with training too much either!

What a pointless poll ..

Yes its more or No its the same?

The same. One month with Celtic Glasgow: 4 players injured 2 or more months (Vennegoor, Nakamura,Boruc and McGeady, all first team players :| )

Nomis07
22-12-2008, 08:32
Why isn't there a "I never had a problem with injuries" option.

Ediocy
22-12-2008, 08:38
I suppose "No, the number of injuries is same as before" can also be interpreted as "No, I have not seen any changes to the number of injuries my team is getting. That number remains within reason, as it had been since 9.1.0."

That was my interpretation at least, and hence I voted, rather than simply ignoring this thread. :)

22-12-2008, 09:20
The same as before... but I must stress that there were far too many before and there still are.

I have a player off on a stretcher every other game - how shocked would you be if that happened in real life?!

this poll sucks, injurys are better than before and that option is missing :D

you should have an option for decreased as i get less injuries now i have the patch.i was getting at least two a game and on a couple of occasions i got 4 but now at this current moment i have a fully fit team

The majority of complaints on this issue with 9.2 concern not the number of injuries, but the length. Comparing data from the game to data on physioroom looks fine if you purely look at the number of injuries; but there seems, on FM, to be a high proportion of one month plus injuries.

No option for "it was never really a problem for me and still isn't?"

Shame on you ;-)

Good question. Mine have decreased. The 9.2 patch seems schizophrenic in how people experience effects on opposing ends of the spectrum.

ahmufcwafc
22-12-2008, 17:12
Yeah, there definately should have been a "they've decreased" option. I've been getting way less injuries in my game since applying the patch.

Injuries more on 9.2 than in 9.1 but not as many as unpatched.

9.1 had lots of it spot on i think.

Playing 9.2 with 9.1 data (though Ince replaced by Allardyce and Keane gone) as extremely disappointed with the cack handed reduction in arsenal players stats rather than tweaking of Wengers management/players consistency which would have had a better effect i.e. when Arsenal get it right they could dominate but are horribly inconsistent and currently not really up for a scrap - i.e. change those but e.g. don't make Sagna or Clichy no more than average when they were in the team of the year last year.

I'm enjoying the game so much more now because I don't worry about players getting injured in every match anymore.

Now all we need is for the next patch to fix the silly length of injuries. A bruised rib would not keep someone out for two months, damn it!

I guess this post was not much about the number but about the lenght

I got a message saying my keeper Frey was out for a month. He was match fit in one week. I've noticed this a lot, the physios are either wonder-workers or can no longer accurately predict for how long a player will be out, lol.

I cannot guarantee it happens in your game, I no longer believe we are all playing the same game lol.

I didnt notice cuz i use the filter to not show unavailiable players. So when they come back they pop up there and i do not notice if they were really out for 1 month or more like the physio said.

The amount of injuries and knocks in games has seemingly decreased for me.

msadler04

9.2 is as bad as 9.0 (the constant player knocks seem to have re-appeared)

9.1 was just about playable

I seem to have less injuries now than FM08.....But hey injuries are part of the game.....Look at my beloved Everton--- All 4 frontline strikers injured ...see it happens in real --life..

My injuries have been slighly higher now, which is very annoying.

Brabrabra
23-12-2008, 14:17
For me there are more injuries now with the new patch than with the one before, it's always at least one player that get injured during a match, often two.

hammondkahuna
23-12-2008, 14:29
i had Three injured in one game.

Total of Six injuries after 5 games in at the start of the season.

Six main players between 3 weeks to two months.

Training is not too hard. I won't play players with less than 92percent condition unless emergency.

Six players injured in August. I never had this in previous patch.

Mattek
23-12-2008, 14:47
There are more injuries in my game now - after patching. However, it may just be a coincidence: played couple of times with different teams on previous version (no injury problems at all) and only half of season with Fenerbahce on 9.02 (and here it gets pretty annoying).

I did not touch training - either then back or now, so this is not the reason.

I would also like to make the point that irl I believe that a lot of players come back early still carrying injurys and play on how they feel on the day, look at Ledley king for example. What I mean is, I don't tend to play anyone with an orange injury mainly due to the superb squad i have assembled, but I believe you can get away with playing them a lot of the time.

I think the injury rate is similar, but I think the type/length of injuries have been decreased.

Brabrabra
23-12-2008, 15:24
ok, this is getting ridiculous. Every match a player get's injured, even in international fixtures the players from my team are getting injured. This is bordering very frustrating

Wakka
23-12-2008, 16:52
After the end of the season i patched the game the injuries decreased....

boywonder9
23-12-2008, 16:56
Much better for me. Frequency of injuries is about the same, but spread out over more players - instead of focusing on attacking midfielders and forwards. Length of injuries seems more sensible as well. Also much fewer knocks and red injuries in game. I can actually make tactical subs these days without holding my breath for the rest of the game.

Giarc Ronyag
23-12-2008, 17:24
I would say the amount of times they get injured has decreased, while the length of the injury has increased...

AIK
24-12-2008, 12:51
I believe the number of injuries are on a good level, but the time they're out are crappy.
Much more of the injuries must be 1-5 days. In 9.2.0 90% of injuries are 1-2 months, that's both boring and unrealistic. Most injuries should be short ones. I think it should be a little more long injuries too, 5-12 months.
