I'm running my game with large database and its struggling.
Anyone got tips on speeding up the game?

Actually, i've got a good one. Start Task Manager, and set the fm.exe process as high priority. Which speeds up the game a bit.

It slows it down because of all the other background stuff to make fm.exe work...

Well so i heard.

I remember there being a program you could download, and pick a speed for any other program to work at, downside was it made the game unstable, It made the ingame match engine super fast..and i cant remember what the program was:P

Look at the list of processes in task manager (the large spaced ones) and close them.

Disable facepacks, kits and logos as well from preferences.

Go to preferences and make sure your 'processing fixtures' is set to 'fastest'

Also it may be worth unticking 'threading' as some people have reported this is slowing down their game - must add this is not always the case mind.

If I change the setting to 'fastest' will this affect the game in anyway, apart from speeding it up, obviously.
