Attribute for scout knowledge

I've noticed that some scouts are able to maintain more knowledge about nations than other scouts. What attribute determines this?

not so sure if there is one tbh. could be a few. reputation. determination. or just pure damn luck. i'd be interested to know tho, as one of the best scouts i find at the start of the game, has a world class rep, but seems to be one of the worst for retaining knowledge

I've often thought that determination is one, but more importantly adaptability.

Adaptability as we know, is the attribute (with players anyway), which governs how well a player or staff member settles or feels comfortable in his new surroundings.

Hopefully one of the SI crowd will tip us the nod either way.

Not to be confused of course with Ron Atkinson's famous "bouncebackability", which for a scout would mean him returning from a lengthy mission with "no players to mention".

What if you scout an area a few times. Does this help retain knowledge?

Never really had too much of a problem with maintaining knowledge of foreign countries, my main problem seems to be the fact my knowledge of England for the team keeps declining.

This is despite the fact that:

I (the manager) am English

Several Staff are English

I have scouts constantly scouring England & often set them to pilfer the leagues for talent

I have English feeder clubs

It's been a bit of an oddity...
