Dirty_ACE
Are these two exactly identical bar the actual game title? I'm trying to convince a friend to go ahead and buy WSM through steam as it's much faster than waiting for FM to be delivered by mail, but he's not convinced that they're the same game but just have different names. 4457
They're effectively the same. I'm sure there are language differences between American terms and British ones, but I think that should be about it.
Stormz
Don't use steam!
Kewell08
Spammer... The only difference is that while FM comes default with English (UK), WSM comes with English (US). And edit: you can change the language easily anyway. You may need to download a language pack but they are easy to find.
Dirty_ACE
Thanks for your help guys
twistedratt
You dont need to download a language pack, you can switch to the UK English in preferences. And if you buy through steam you dont have the nasty activation nonsense.
Dirty_ACE
One more question. By downloading from steam, would one still be able to use custom skins, logos, face packs, etc.?
fromthemachine
Yes. If you're using Windows, those files can be put in an area of your "Documents" section.
Dirty_ACE
Yes. If you're using Windows, those files can be put in an area of your "Documents" section. That's exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks
twistedratt
There is a pretty good post in the graphics and skinning section about where to put files if your using steam. And the 08 stuff works as well because I'm using some of them for my game.
