Whenever I do my team-talk I never see an improvement if I speak to a player indivudally yet I have been proved wrong

I've players praise me for my half time team talk when they've come back from behind to win. The flip side to that coin is that i've been winning comfortably then said something at half time and they've gone on to perfrom worse in the 2nd half and invariably lose

Same, telling players who are playing good 'you have faith' normally leads to them player even better

Not always... Sometimes you tell a player "you have faith" and he goes like "wow i can play like a stoned goat and still have faith" and then plays even worse. :|

The team talk is a tricky beast to master!

Its taken me 5 seasons but I believe im making some progress. As long as you dont do a Rafa and try and send 12 players out for a CL Final second half its all good!
