Insurance

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this has been said before but something struck me the other day when playing 09,

I'm currently in my second season (yes i'm one of those players that watches the highlights) with Torquay.

I've had a few injuries of late and real big buggers to, up to 5-6 months at a time, no big deal however with me spending loads of money on wages in my pathetic atempt at a push for promotion (lost in Po final) for the second time i'm slipping deeper and deeper into debt.

Am i right in thinking IRL a player is insured and if they get injured the insurance pays out for the players wages ? or is that not the case, this is something i would certainly like to see implemented in the lower dregs?

Any thoughts, for example Lee hodges out for 6 months insurance covers the wages that torquay have been paying a "smaller" premium for ove the year!

This would certainly help with paying out for a players wages that simply can't play?
