hehe only done this co\ im bored i know you guys are getting bored of the same patch talk but im getting bored of not being able to play my game, brought on release day and still can't play!!!

yh ive been on the forums seen 2 today...just for this patch....fingers crossed it come before 12:00 today

what's worse is that we are not allowed to talk about it, people like us have been shut up by spiteful moderators in spite of us having paid dam good money for the game, even the sticky for this topic was shut ffs.

its stupid that we can't even mention it, don't think it will come today though guys

ive been waiting since flipping 2....8 hours that is and no one could give me a straight answer....yes or no is it coming out today....instead of saying....we have testing....which could be few days......

I think it's more a case of trying to control the amount of threads on the subject. If everything was posted in just the one im sure it would be fine but that never happens. You find that you get 20-30 different threads on the subject, then people start getting annoyed.

i don't think that people in general are impatient more than irritated with the behaviour of the moderators around the matter. It's a joke that we cannot even mention it. Fair enough there have been multiple threads, however, when a sticky was put up to help prevent this it was just closed.

The mods will have been instructed to close any patch threads. They aren't being spiteful.

I'm happy enough to wait for the patch, I just wish that someone had taken the time to say it wasn't going to be today after it had been suggested it would be.

I think it was a good idea at least it may have stopped quite a few usless threads.

I think it's fair to say that it isn't coming out on the 18/12/2008. I also think it's fair to say that people, including myself, has just got the belated straight answer we have been looking for. Took time, till about ten minutes ago actually, but we got it. Thanks :confused:

Especially when very little information is being given to us.

I understand they're working hard on it, but it would be nice to get some info. Could help out calming a few people down.

I've seen half a dozen patch related threads today and every single one is full of spam, angry rants, and moaning. Perhaps if you all posted in a more mature way you wouldn't be forced to shut up about it

all i wanted was a couple of yes no answers.....then that would be the end of it.....if u don't know exactly what the answer is dont post it....instead they confuse us to the extent where ur left with no clear answer and back to square one

Agreed, the whining makes the forums unbearable at times.

Not too bothered myself, pretty good game as it is, too many long shot goals, defenders being really bad is the worst of it, other than that a big thumbs up.

Its out when its out, anything that breaks the game atm can be sorted with 5 mins work with the editor.

Last night we could talk about the patch in the sticky thread and they have now even taking that away from us.

I would just like to know if it is coming out tonight if not i am going to go bed and come back tomorrow night.

Given they've now pretty much missed Miles's loose deadline of getting it out before today, there's no reason to think it won't be next week before we get this now.

It doesn't have quite the same financial clout as harry potter though. So thinking that si are going to release a patch at midnight is pretty stupid.

uh oh miles has gone offline........no patch i guess this morning them...oh well im of to bed.....thats 8 and a half hours of waiting gone down the toilet

To be fair they have done with a loose guesstimate. Aim for 17th...in final testing which could take a few days etc etc

Agreed. They cause more issues for themselves with the wall of silence.

People are allowed to mention the patch. It's just the sheer amount of pointless threads that needs to be controlled. Seeing as this thread has stayed open, theoretically any other threads on it are pointless because people should just use this one.
