Opening more leagues

Is it possible to open more leagues after starting the game?

No, the only way to do so is to start a new game.

In that case, can I mention a possible bug with the game.

I am Real Madrid and when I offer a player, only the big European clubs appear interested in the player, this could be due to the value being slightly high (on average £9m). My thinking was that if I open up more leagues then perhaps other, mid-ranged, clubs would be interested and put in offers.

clubs in in-active leagues should still be interestd in the player if they want him it's been ok in my experience

Cool, admittedly the values being sought have been quite high so perhaps the mid-ranged clubs are not likely to be in a position to buy.

Correct. Those inactiva leagues will still be buying/selling.

Adding more countries/leagues only means more will be avalable in detail, like standings in all the leagues and that you can manage in those leagues/countries.
