Sonic2006
I get a box telling me 'The folder d3dx9_37.dll cannot be found. I've gone through set up and its available on the Steam programme as ready. Problem is Steam stops working when I try to load the game. Help.
CaptainPlanet
You can run the game without going through steam. go to c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2009 and run the game directly from there.
ricki.bertolino
I get a box telling me 'The folder d3dx9_37.dll cannot be found.I've gone through set up and its available on the Steam programme as ready. Problem is Steam stops working when I try to load the game. Help. I'm pretty sure it says "the file d3dx9_37.dll", not the folder. Anyway, this is not a steam issue, it's a directX issue. The file that is requesting belongs to Direct X v9. Uninstall the game, and when you re-install it choose to install direct x option as well. This will fix the problem. CaptainPlanet
Potential workaround: - Install the Microsoft DirectX re-distributable package from here: - Web Installer: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en - Full re-distributable: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
