Board confidence update (what???)

Can anyone explain this to me, I'm quite puzzled!

Normally when that happens either your signing hasn't played enough games or has had poor performances. I'm going to bet the former. Just four games then.

If a good player signs for you thats pretty much alway a good thing , right?

Aye, youth players never used to get taken into account with poor performances or games played, but they do now, just ignore it.

This happens alot.. I sign alot of 16 year old regens and let them play in the under 20 league... When a cup match comes along I usually give them the odd appearance.. so approx 2-3 games for first team in a season... so if they perform below average the fans become disappointed in the signings even though his price was 10k lol

I've had the fan spokesman, maybe even the board but cannot be sure, alter their opinion based on the players transfer fee. For example something like this... '... but we understand he is making up the numbers as evidenced by the amount paid for him'

The player in question must play a number of games for the board not to be disappointed with the signing.

right, so if he has been signed but not utilized? that is understandable.

come on, the board shouldnt judge players, who are bought as young teens, unless the fee is really really high..

i buy 2-4 young players a year, in the age group 15-17, they are bought for the future, not to establish themselves as starters NOW.. that should not be a problem, for the board the comprehend.
