Goalkeeping attributes for players

I noticed some players have all 5/100 for GK attributes (like C.Ronaldo)

but i also noticed most players have higher ratings, and especially for REFLEXES: players have 40-50-60/100 for reflexes... (like Messi etc...)

now my question is: do these values have any impact on fieldplayers ???

what do you mean 5/100 for GK? the keeper rating for outfield players i believe is out of 5 so it would be 5/5 if thats what your talking about.

reflexes is just as much about outfield as it is a goalkeeper rating. how quick you are to react to a loose ball for example.

in some ingame editors you can se the actual ratings ( x/100)... thats what i ment

so then this means that C.Ronaldo, Scholes, Vidic,... wont react to loose balls ??? (because they all do have 5/100 for reflexes)

You can't really use those to judge, can you? The game's ratings are out of 20 and I doubt it's a direct 1/5th conversion.

well it is... because in some editors you can see how attributes increase (5/100--> 6/100 --> 7/100 etc... match after match)

also these GK attributes do increase for al players --> so it uses a part of the PA

'Reflexes' is used by the match engine to calculate the actions of goalkeepers, and not players.

I doubt it will have any effect, as it's not an outfield player attribute.

ok, so this means that giving players 1/100 for reflexes and other GK attributes will 'clean up' some part of the CA (which was used for those attributes) --> so their principal player attributes will get higher (when CA is still same)

I would assume so, yeah.

Although they may be weighted (similar to the left foot/right foot/either foot issue), and therefore will have little impact on their overall CA/attributes.
