Amaroq
I have my game set up with a 3-file rolling autosave, set to save every week. The behavior is this: - If a week passes since the file was saved, the "old" save is renamed to ".. (v 02)", and the new save replaces the file name. - If I save manually, the new save replaces the file name and resets the "week" counter. Having been burned by power outages and crashes in the past, I tend to manually save after each match. After my most recent match, I saved and exited. It turns out the save was corrupt. No problem, I'll go to my (v 02) save. Its almost a month old!!! Obviously, by manually saving, I'm not getting the benefit of the "3-file rolling" setting. Can we please change the definition to call it "3-file rolling save", and change the behavior so that, no matter how I save the file, if I save it with the same name as I loaded it with, it does the "rename previous version" functionality? 4457
Yes please, it's hurt me before. Definitely something that would greatly help keep stress levels down if I knew my stupid PC which randomly BSODs isn't eating my save games.
