forzautd
Ok, so ive had a number of players now picking up an unnamed hip injury in training. my options are injection-get through next game but then out for 10(!) months (If its that serious how can painkillers possibly be an option). Send him to physio-out for 6 months. and specialist-out for two. two questions here - what the hell is this hip injury that it is so serious! and why bother offering the former two options? has anyone selected physio treatment over specialist? if so, WHY? Some Guy!
I've only seen one so far... ...and that was after his transfer was arranged. Thigh injuries are the in thing in my game!
TomHAVFC
I've had a couple of these in my game. I send them to a specialist. Like most sane people would.
MarkTrevor
If my player is leaving the club, he gets painkillers, or the one which leaves him out longest.
TomHAVFC
If my player is leaving the club, he gets painkillers, or the one which leaves him out longest. That's a bit harsh isn't it. Possibly damaging a career just because he is leaving your club?
wez33
That's a bit harsh isn't it. Possibly damaging a career just because he is leaving your club?it is only a game ,If im a poor non league club and its a player tht doesnt meen anything i let physio do it
TomHAVFC
it is only a game ,If im a poor non league club and its a player tht doesnt meen anything i let physio do it Surely you'd still use a specialist. What about if you had an injury crisis and you ended up needing that player but he's still getting physiotherapy from the Physio. It's not unheard of in
CrashOverride
Well If the player thinks your damaging there career then they can refuse the Pain Killing injections!! This wasnt for a hip injury btw im not that crazy

THEEEEEO
Does sending to a specialist cost money? I always choose that option without giving it a thought, but at smaller teams it could be something to consider.
Somesay
I seen this, it should be suited to ageing players lol

If it's a new or young player you might choose physio so he can continue his bonding with the squad rather than being sent away. That's the only thing I can think of. That's the only thing I can think of. I wouldnt have thought they stay with the specalist for the period of treatment. IRL clubs send players to specialists for operations and then they come back for physio's to continue the recupartion (sp) plan! But I am intrigued as to what the physios actually do in game! What happens if you sack them all???
boywonder9
Three of my players got this injury in the space of 2-3 weeks. One of them has since had it 2 more times. When I had three guys out with it I was sure that it was some new contagious condition my guys were passing around in the locker room. I've seen multiple injuries like this that seem to happen in bunches. 2 guys picked up torn calfs in back to games - very rare injury.
Evilmaniacuk
Gallas got the hip injury in my game although was out for 3 months with a specialist....Clichy broke his pelvis, 9 months out.

Evilmaniacuk
Aye, pregnancy's a bitch That was funny, first game back last night. Arsenal Vs. Tottenham in FA 4th rouund. 89 mins 1-0 to Arsenal, Clichy gets himself set off and tottenham score from the resulting free kick. Off to a replay now. Think i'll go back to using Sakho, been doing a good job up untill now
forzautd
has anyone noticed that players are never out injured for how long the physio says. benzema got injured for two months with some unsettlingly vague injury...and was back in two weeks! i think my physio must be talking up the injuries to make himself look better when he miraculously cures them in 10 days
CrashOverride
Yeah this happens to me but its better than the other way round. Maybe its the sign of a good physio if the can bring the player back sooner than the thought?
forzautd
ye i know what you mean. but i dont know what to think now when a player gets an injury, cos i know that it isnt gonna be for as long as he says.
