Because there are hundreds of threads asking the same thing! It hasn't even been confirmed that it is definately out tomorrow!

because instead of putting up a sticky about the progress of the patch, si do nothing and we get all of these threads starting.

There is no confirmed date or time for the patch, that is why these threads get closed and also why there is no sticky about it.

It's in testing which will take a couple of days, if it passes, we should get it soon.
