SnapFall
Hi guys, getting a new laptop soon to replace my current computer. Currently playing FM08 but ill be buying FM09 after enjoying the demo. I've been looking at a few laptops but im trying to take into account whether the new laptop will run it? My budget is around £400 and I found this Toshiba one: http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/8114895/Toshiba-Satellite-L350-170-Pentium-Dual-Core-T3200-2GHz-2GB-250GB-17-DVD-SM-Vista-Home-Premium-Laptop-Notebook/Product.html I was wondering if this would run FM09 and if not is there any laptops in a similar price range that would? Any help would be really appreciated cheers.
JJ 691990
This is no anger at you at all. But the amount of threads on people getting new laptops to use FM09 is now ridiculous. Can we make one thread for new laptop users and what specific things they need on the computers for FM09 to run smoothly.
Les Girondins
Please for the love of God S.I. put a laptop sticky on the forum and close all threads asking about laptop specifications or I might just end up eating my gun.

Wakers
Si should submit their system specs to that systemrequirements website. www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest Here.
baker.simon
Si should submit their system specs to that systemrequirements website.www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest Here. Is that the one where you select something like spore and it test your system? That was a good idea, and it should be a sticky!
Les Girondins
Si should submit their system specs to that systemrequirements website.www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest Here. FM 09 is already on there isn't it? The mainstay of these 'can I run fm 09' threads seems to be from people looking to buy a laptop in the near future .. Since 5% of laptops in the sub £700 category come with dedicated graphics, the answer is pretty much 'not really, it might, but you'd have to try it out' which is, I guess, why they keep posting new threads. Hopefully it will die off after Xmas .. *fingers crossed
Wakers
Ah, yes, it is on there! I mist have missed it when i looked through.
phnompenhandy
It's a higher-spec one than my Tosh Satellite and the 3D runs fine (bit jerky) on mine. Double check on the sticky thread if the graphics card listed has passed SI's compatibility test.
Matty Kyle
This laptop will run FM perfectly fine. I have a lower spec Toshiba Satellite and mine runs the 3D match engine, and is only jerky when other programs are open at the same time.
Lera
Hi. I'm sure everything will be fine. FM09 will work on this laptop. Just see what's what with the settings. You need to install the correct driver. And pray.
