League reputation and the welsh league. Can you help me?

Recommended Posts

Have looked around and haven't found anything on these issues.

In 2010-11 the welsh league will change their structure from a 18 team league to two divisions with 10 teams each. Is this implemented in the game?

And will the league reputations increase/decrease according to the teams performances in this version?

No, the league's reputation does not change, but the league's cash and co-efficients will increase, and the individual team's reputations will rise. Think of it in terms of the Celtic/Rangers in Scotland thing: if Rangers moved to Cardiff in the morning, it wouldn't make Airbus any more appealing, but it would gradually raise the co-efficient and cash for other clubs because they have better access to europe. If the clubs have more cash, they may attract better players, and so on.

So technically, no, the leagues reputation doesn't really change, but for all intents and purposes the same effects happen.

Cheers. So your clubs reputation will increase by performance then?

If you do well in Europe with an icelandic team you will be able to attract good players despite the league your in?

Anyone knowing anything about the welsh league system?

Yes, up to a point. I think someone actually posted their experiences with an Icelandic team, they were able to sign good players and do very well in Europe. However, they found that they weren't able to easily get jobs in other Scandanavian countries; they thought this was because they wouldn't pay his wages. He didn't have the richer european leagues running so he couldn't tell if it was the wages problem or because they didn't rate Iceland's league.
