Wakers
oh geez, i see your problem. Windows Vista with a single core processer and not even 1gb of ram. Companies should not be allowed to sell that! You also have a very, very basic graphics card.

Wakers
so nothing i can do ? I don't think there's much you can do with that - looking at the components, i would bet that your motherboard won't support dual core or a pci-e graphics card, so there's really no point spending money on upgrading. I can't believe you only have 446 (i guess that's 512) Ram in there - that's barely enough to run XP at full capacity and nowhere near enough to cope with Vista, even basic. The_Kop
the easiest way is to buy maybe 1gb of ram. and it's the easiest cos it's the cheapest
roykela
If i'm reading it correctly then i would advice you to get some more RAM. Since you're on Vista then i would advice you to have at least 1GB RAM. Preferrably up to 2GB since FM won't use more than that, as far as i know. Your graphics card also seems like it's a bit on the low side. Don't know how you're running FM now, but try to run it on a small database, with not so many leagues running. Try setting the detail level of the graphics to low. Don't know if you're using 3D or not, but it might help. If you haven't, try setting up a new game and press the recommended button. See what that comes up with. I know that isn't the most accurate thing in this game, but it's worth a shot. The biggest advice is, unfortunately RAM. Seems like you're on the low-end on that. Vista itself uses most of the RAM you've got there, which makes FM run slowly as well. If there's anything i've misread or misunderstood, please correct me
CSF90
Buy more RAM from crucial.com
Wakers
Run the tool on crucial.com to find out how much your motherboard can support. I would suggest buying 2x 1gb sticks. That will really loosen up your computer quite a bit.
GavinZac
Yeah, you don't have enough RAM to really run Vista, let alone FM on top. As others have said, get more RAM, or if you're absolutely stuck, try using Windows XP instead. From your page file size, it actually looks as though Vista is running mostly from your page file, which must be horrendously slow.
kopitelewis
get more RAM and a graphics card, surely you should get a refund from where you got it from. oh and try deleting needless folders to create more spac for it. i did hat and it worked. look http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=80300
massive_genius
Jesus christ, if that's a retail off-the-shelf package type computer, that's absolutely criminal. Vista with less than half a gig of RAM? I can't even imagine what that must be like. I have a laptop with Vista Home and 1GB and it's infuriatingly slow, surely <0.5GB is literally unusable? Super Canaries
How good is Crucial.com! I just done the scan, Very helpful My brother's got Vista & 2Gig RAM... It's not quick but it's not slow can't imagine what half a Gig is like
lawsie
either buy more ram and get a better graphics card or just dump it and get a new one. Only options really, running Vista with those specs is pretty bad in itself never mind running games on top of it
