I'm playing as York City in my first season and obviously all my players are crap, I was offered Sean McAllister for 1.6million euros and obviously I don't have that money, so I offered them nothing and they accepted.

I'm pretty lucky coz he's a superstar compared to my players.

Bug or fortune?

maybe they really didnt want him coz he was crap for them so they needed to get rid... and luckily you got him

If I were you. I'd take it as fortune. The club he was at obviously didn't want him. I have had it before, but not very often

I haven't even had a player offered to me let alone for that kind of money. I'd say, enjoy the deal and make the best out of it.
