How Does A Part-Time Contract Work?

Often wondered how this works exactly if you offer a player one?

Slower player progression for one, as he won't actually be training full-time.

So you could offer a player 50k a week and he'd only turn up to training like twice a week or something? Lol.

Part-time contracts are for clubs in the lower leagues where the club doesn't have a vast income to support player wages and the player must make a living with a second part-time job as well. Players therefore have less time to train and don't develop as quickly, as 4457 said.
