Save Game could not be loaded!!

For some reason my save game will not load and have a fantastic record. Would like to try to recover it.... any ideas?

The save folder has the game save and it did fully save before quitting.

Any help would be gratefully recieved:D

Sounds like a corrupted save! Very frustrating but it happens, it happened to last week! Furious because i was doing so well!

Not much you can do now, but some tips for avoiding this:

1. Turn off anti-virus programs, they sometimes like to poke files that change, and that can lead to corruption if FM is in the middle of doing something.

2. Save uncompressed. It takes a little more disk space, but loads/saves much quicker and more reliably.

3. Set rolling save to be every week. With uncompressed saving, this only takes about 10 seconds every few minutes.
