I brought him in on trial, and offered him a contract which he excepted, but I had allready brought 2 foriegn based palyers, so contract was cancelled. He needs to reside in Italy to gain Itialian nationality, which was "Awaiting for Paperwork" for ages, eventually he became an Italian citizen, and I managed to sign him. This comes from someone who watched Appiah many times in the stadium (I am a fan of his former club, Fenerbahçe - I know all about the controversial story) and also I lived in U.K. as a non-EU citizen for 3 years, believe me, I know the Home Office regulations. Professional football or engineer, it doesn't matter. Appiah can not get a work permit because he barely played a single international game in the last two years. His past career doesn't count - and he can't get it on appeal, either. I beg to the guys in SI, please don't change this in the patch. This is the way it should be right now.
