Early bath for him again

Everytime I play against Portsmouth, and because I really dont like the player, I always set Pennant to be tackled hard. I played them 5times last season (2*league 1*carling 2*fa cup(replay)), and in 3 of those games he got sent off.

I have just played them on the opening game of this season, tackled him hard, and guess what, he got sent off again.

Is this just because of his temperment, or will it work for a number of players, always good to get the opposition down to 10 men
