Big match engine bug - about freekicks

I just found out this one

In the division I play (I'managing Leeds) when I look at the team's stats, after 15 league games (total games played = 12 games (every week) * 15 = 180:

- The total number of goals from direct free kicks is only 4! This is the total in the whole league. so, 4 goals in 180 games.

- The total number of goals from indirect free kicks is around 60-70, which is alright I guess?

Now check this out:

In other divisions, championship and premiere, and league 2:

- Goals from direct free kicks is 62

- Goals from indirect free kicks is 3!!!!!!!!

SI, what's up with this? How can you not notice this big bug?

Any word on fixing this issue in patch 2?

I havent conceded one yet. But I have scored 20 in my first season (Benfica's players are overrated in free kicks...)

You play 12 games a week ? Mathematical error ? Clarification please. Everything's fine, scoring and conceding.

The figures sound unusual. Screenies appreciated. SI shall then see if that is just you or if those are really flawed. Yet, if it was wrong it was still just a flaw and not a showstopper bug which should be driving you up the wall the way it seems to.

I think it's down to AI tactics, they seem to do short passes then shots on freekicks in some leagues, and in others they just hit and hope.

I looked at Premier League statistics in my game recently and noticed that after 25 games, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal put together about 50 goals from direct free-kicks... My own team have scored three goals from DFKs this season and conceded none so I forgot about this quickly but it looks like there's some issue with it.

I've only played about 14 league games and i've scored one direct free kick, but my highest attribute is 16.

What the OP posted are way more disturbing figures and a completely different issue tbh.

Three teams scoring a total of 50 goals from direct freekicks in a single season (not even a whole season)? Well, in the world I live in it is not completely okay but totally insane.

I think the problem is that there are 2 different ME's running. One with ful details, the other one is limited/quick ME. All the games in my division are run with full detail engine, but not the others, including the european competitions, and all the other competitions. Whereas limited/quick match engine still produces realistic results, it creates flawed statistics. This was also a problem in FM 2008 (that time it was with number of interceptions and tackles I believe, which was not a big deal, but this one with free kicks is very very annoying!) and SI sais they were going to fix it. But as usual, rather than fixing the existing issues, they just added more new tools to the game, and a lot of those tools are not working properly anyway. Shame on SI!!!

I hope somebody from SI is reading this, and they will do something about this issue in next patch.

I can still live with these, although only 7 DFK goals doesn't sound right.

The real problem is, like I said, in other competitions, where teams score a lot of goals from DFK's, but almost none from IFK's, the latter being the worst flaw. For example:

DFK's in premiere after 11th matchday (62 in 110 games (10 matches per matchday). Sounds way too high. How many DFK goals do we see every week in premiere in real life? 2 on the average maybe? So, in 110 games this number shoud be more like 20, 25 at most. Not 62!!!)

Now this is the worst: IFK's in premiere after 11th matchday (3, yes 3 (three) in 110 games, absolutely ridiculous!!!)
