tony1 Posted December 10, 2008 Share Posted December 10, 2008 Started as Leeds and tried getting rid of Staunton but bates said no too much compensation to pay. I offered him a contract a coach, he said no. His contract was due to expire in June 2009, so I put him on defensive training ( he has a 15) as that's all he has going for him. End of May I looked round and found a decent ass manager, bates still wouldn't let me terminate his contract, cost too much. So theres me thinking in a week he'll be gone contract expired. Wrong, come June 30th I look and his contract had been renewed on May 4th and runs until May 3rd 2012 and all his stats had improved overnight by 4 - 5 points.
