A team wishing to buy a player of yours is really a rarity, why are they all asking for loans to buy (and they never buy after the loan)? Is there any magic word to sell a player in fm2009? stokes_83 Posted December 9, 2008 Share Posted December 9, 2008 Are we playing the same game? I can't keep my players. Loan to buy is an extremely useful tool for both the buyer and the seller. The buyer is basically testing or demo'ing the player for the duration of the loan and if they like what they see they can buy him for a fixed price. As the seller, if you have a player you can't get rid you can send the player on a loan while paying his salary and hope he does well so the team will then want to buy him.
