Using the arrows(forward runs)

Recommended Posts

Why on fm 09 cnt the arrows go left and right. and more to the point why cant forward runs extend two spaces so from midfield to attack. An arrow can only go from midfield to attacking mid. Why?? other fm versions 05,06,07 and 08 forwrd runs could go anywhere.

Simplified so you wouldn't be able to poke holes in the new engine and make supertactics.

It's just like when they removed wibble/wobble for CM4 and the new 2d engine. First they said it was because it was too complicated for the players, but later slipped up and admitted they had to remove it so people didn't poke holes in the matchengine and made unbeatable super tactics.

Partly this, and partly because the arrows acted in a stupid unrealistic manner.

If your really stuck then have a look at the articles on http://www.fm-britain.co.uk/ or look in the tactics forum for posts by wwfan which should help you out with FM2009.

Whats so unrealistic with telling a player that when we have the ball he should have a default position higher up on the pitch the when we are defending? Or tell the wingers you want them to position themself more to the center of the pitch while defending than when attacking?
