Clubs asking for permission for loanee to play in the Cup?

Been playing CM/FM for donkey's years, and every year I wonder when if SI will ever introduce this feature.

Obviously we all know that when a player is sent out on loan, a club can determine whether a player can play in cup competitions. However in real life, clubs often ask the loaning club if the loanee can play in certain competitions.

Example:

Arsenal loan Gibbs to Brighton for the season, and state he can NOT play in cup competitions. Brighton beat Arsenal in the 3rd round of the league cup 2-1, and draw Man Utd in the 4th round. Because of his loan conditions Gibbs can not play in the 4th round, but wouldn't it make sense for Brighton being able to ask for permission for Gibbs to play in the 4th round as Arsenal are now out of the competition?

Never been in this situation in my current game as I am a Premiership club, but I'm guessing this hasn't been introduced in FM09.

Would anyone else like to see this introduced, or would it be a waste of time?
