Okey, playing with newcastle, chris hughton as my right hand.

Michael owen just recovered from his latest injury, and to build up his match sharpness i gave him a running with the reserves.

After the game checked to see how he'd done. I saw his below 6 rating, and thought that even for a half fit owen that's a damn poor display, especially as it's the reserves, so i had a look at what happened in the game...

Well, i wasn't too impressed with hughton's tactical abilities. I know that i'm no arsene wenger myself, but i honestly reckon that i would had been able to find a more suitable role for owen then my ass man apparently did.

Did the reserve team had any Goalies available? If so it must be a bug, if not the ass. man could have tought that Owen was the best goalie in the selection.

there where goalies, because later on he brought in tim krul (my 3rd choise goalie). Yeah it's fm09, i would post the screenphoto if i'd knew how

That was probably the position where he was least likely to get injured again

Seriously though, this sounds like a bug of some kind. Head on ove rto the bugs forum and if possible upload the save game for SI to have a look at. It tells you how to do all that over there I think.

Getting a 5 - 6 rating as a keeper for Owen (even in the reserves) is pretty damn good

The same thing has happened to me a few times when players have come back from injury. They usually get taken off after 20-30 minutes and a keeper comes on or else they get moved to their position and the keeper comes on for someone else:confused:
