rpashfc Posted December 7, 2008 Share Posted December 7, 2008 Hi I posted this in the Bugs forum yesterday, but got no replies - Since I purchased the game, i've been halfway through my career, my screen crashes, all the graphics and screen colours mix in together, the screen starts blinking and it doesn't look normal. Then, my monitor switches itself off - then back on again - when a dark blue screen containing a WINDOWS message with white writing sayin my PC had to be shut down to protect files and data. This only ever happens when i'm playing on FM. My SPECS meet the standards on the box of the game. Football Manager has created three "crash dumps" in the SI Directory, but i'm not too sure what to do with them? I'm starting to have second thoughts on wether I should even attempt to carry on playing my game because I don't want my machine damaged, but I don't like the look of it bringing up a blue screen with warnings i've never seen before on it. Les Girondins Posted December 7, 2008 Share Posted December 7, 2008 This sounds very much like a thermal/shutdown issue. Do you have an OEM pc or home brew?
