guess what happened? i put in a bid for a player

they rejected my offer and accepted a "lower" offer from another team (the computer). i have some snapshots.

i see this as a challenge though, lol.

Are you a rival club? Or maybe in the same league as the team whose player you put a bid on?

maybe the two managers are friends as they are more likely to accept bids from each other

As the others mentioned;

i. Are you rivals (fierce)

ii. Are you in the same league

iii. Maybe the lower bid has some clauses in that you can see, like sell on clause.

Yes as said above. If you have a bad relationship with the manager too he wont accept bids.

Lets say Man Utd needed money badly and had to sell Ronaldo for £50mil. Would you think he would sell him for that price to Arsene Wenger?

I remember on one of my games I signed a really good player at 2/3 of his asking price because I had a good relationship with the manager. The player was not listed or unhappy.
