I will usually load extra players from neighbouring nations to the one i intend to manage in, to give an extra bit of realism. Playing in Scotland i would recommend loading Ireland, N Ireland and Wales to give you a few extra 'localish' players. Maybe the scandanavian countries would be quite useful too.
