Lower League or Top Team

Hey,

just thought id trow this up there to find out other peoples views. I for one prefer managing lower league teams becasue i think its alot easier oddly enough

Too much expectations at a top team lol

Im currently with Havant and Waterlooville got them from BSS to League one in 5 seasons and lovin it

I generally play a lower league team (English L1 or L2) and a top Italian or Spanish side at the same time with two different managers. Best of both worlds!

i used to like bein Rangers but its way too easy, but my best games are always with lower teams like in previous years i have used scunthorpe and swansea

I prefer managing in the lower leagues with a team I dont really know nothing about. Makes it more of a challenge

Always a lower league team for me. After taking them as far as I can, I'll have a shot at a higher level, but usually the lower leagues is where I manage since I find it most rewarding.

No real preference to be honest, I stay away from the huge teams though when starting a new game, but might end up at them after i get a contract offer.

Well I'm having one of my favourite games in the entire history of my FM-playing days at the moment with Roma. I guess they qualify as a top team, and I tend to have my better games with bigger teams.

Nothing like leading a lower league team to glory so lower league definitely.

I put 'don't care' but so far I've only ever managed top teams (bar CM 93/94 and a few game months in FM 06 and international teams). Assuming FM 07 is going to last me another year and my current save doesn't, I'd like to try Hoffenheim or something like that.

the best is taking a club from lower leagues to the top, then you get to experience it all with one team

Generally I start with a lower league team- my first game was with Hull City though, for obvious reasons, but now having a game with Gateshead in the BSN.

My first game's always Man City, due to me supporting them.

i find man city a good club sometimes not this year too much money and too easy

i havent even had a top job yet. i dont see the point - its not hard. being a hardenened masocist i love watching my team of kids win 3-0 then lose the next match 4-0 using the exact same tactic. its good for the soul.

usually get bored unless I'm managing Celtic, so Iguess its top team for me

Kind of somewhere inbetween for me. I usually like to go bigger clubs from smaller leagues such as Dinamo Minsk, Red Star Belgrade, Ajax and Benfica in recent games.
