Is it okay to delete the fake and nleague files without damaging the game?

I know you could delete the Fake.inc file on FM08 without any problems so was wondering if it would be the same on FM09.

Why do SI make it so easy the get round licencing issues, they haven't paid for the right to use the names of whatever has to be renamed.

That's a bit harsh, using facepacks isn't exactly 100% legal without the players consent, but it isn't considered stealing.

I suppose it is stealing, in truth. But given that the act has already taken place by the time you own the game, is it morally wrong to take advantage of it? Bear in mind that whether you do it or not, the act has already been committed by making it possible.

I'm afraid it is. The rights are owned by someone else. They are the property of somebody else. Obviously it's not a black and white issue, but I can see why some would claim it was stealing.
