wdavey Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Hi, I just finished runner up in the 2009 FA Cup Final to Manchester united, who had already finished second in the league. Since they had already qualified for the Champions League, I was expecting to get a route into Europe the next year because of my cup run but did not. I am sure that was previously the case. The UEFA said that couldnt happen anymore, so the FA decided to make sure the European spots were divvied out through the league placings. Hard luck tho...
