Team Instructions v Player Instructions

Recommended Posts

Yes, the whole point of individual instructions is that they tell a single player to override the team instructions.

The only exception is the mentality slider, which has 2 extra notches for the team settings. If you go ultra defensive or all out attack, this overrides the individual mentality settings. But otherwise (on the 20 "normal" settings"), individual settings take precedence.

The thing to do is to assign those players team settings that you wish to be able to change in tandem. For example, I often like to change my wingers' mentality to get the team to be more attacking or less attacking. But I don't want the defenders to be affected. So the defenders get individual settings and the wingers get the team settings.

The same applies to closing down etc. of course.
