Question about team gelling

I was just curious wether the game recognises if you sign up a couple of players who have experience playing together in the past. Would there be more effective partnership?? Or am I asking too much from the simulation

I was wondering about this also. I signed Joao Moutinho and Miguel Veloso. Maybe it's based on a common language between any number of players (portugese on the occasion.) Im assuming they would have a better understanding but less so in my Man City squad where the commonly spoken language is english(obviously).
