I can't think what good could come of that, you would have less money for wages if they gave you more. The only advantage I could think of would be that you could get a longer contract, which might delay your sacking, if you go through a rough patch, as they would have to pay your contract... I dunno. Also, if they were to deny your request it could make you lose favour with the board, if they were borderline in the first place. Anyone else have any thoughts on it?
